YOUTH EDUCATION
In this creative drama class, elementary students learn how to use their theatrical tools (body, voice, mind and imagination) to bring an original story to life. Using a creative theme as a jumping off point, professional teaching artists from Spooky Action Theater help students explore storytelling and movement in order to promote confidence, self-esteem and creative expression, while also strengthening such skills as active listening and teamwork. Classes also use basic literacy vocabulary, visual arts and dramatic play as a means to explore characters through structured, creative and fun activities!
