Featuring Kate Eberstadt
ONE NIGHT ONLY: JUNE 24, 7 pm

Purchase Tickets

The evening will take place at Carl and Undine Nash's residence in SE Washington, a stunningly beautiful renovated industrial space. It is between 12th, 13th, C and D Streets on Capitol Hill. Street parking is available.

Join Spooky Action for our next Music Theater Salon & Spring Fundraiser - June 24 from 7:00 - 9:00pm.
It'll be a magical evening of delicious food, sparkling drink, and some gorgeous music by a unique singer/songwriter talent. Kate Eberstadt is a DC native returning home after thrilling successes at some of NYC's most popular venues (Are Nova). She writes deeply personal, sublime indie pop music, centering her ethereal voice and intimate style as a performer. We will celebrate with an exclusive announcement of our next season with introductions from Artistic Director Elizabeth Dinkova and other key artists from 2025-2026.
We have a goal of raising $10,000 at this event. The evening will also include a paddle raise to support our Fall production.

Kate Eberstadt is a singer-songwriter, writer, and performer whose work bridges music and theater. A 2025 Ars Nova Makers Lab Resident, she recently made her Joe’s Pub debut and staged her solo show WHERE WE MEET at Ars Nova and in residence at the cell theatre. From performing with Lady Gaga at the VMAs, to writing a musical with her sister Izzi in Kazakhstan, to founding a performing arts program in a refugee camp in Berlin, Kate’s work is genre-defying, daring, and deeply human. Her performances and projects have been presented at the Connelly Theater, National Sawdust, Ars Nova, The Brick, NYU, Columbia, Clubbed Thumb, Joe's Pub, Musical Theatre Factory, the Berliner Festspiele, Sadler’s Wells, and more.
Artist residencies include: The American Academy in Berlin, The Watermill Center, CA+MP Upper Jay Arts Center, Good Hart Artist Residency, the cell theatre, Ars Nova. Recipient of the NAMT Frank Young Fund for New Musicals, the Dramatists Guild’s Stephen Schwartzberg Grant, and NYFA’s Zydney Grant. Kate is an inaugural Toulmin Creator at the Center for Ballet and the Arts at NYU. Her work has been featured in Billboard, New York Post, Glamour, Entertainment Tonight, ELLE, PopSugar, NPR, Gothamist, and recently on PIX11 News.
Kate's music blends irreverent storytelling with a lush, cinematic sound. Her upcoming debut album, Heaven on Earth is set for release in 2025.
