DIRECTIONS: On Public Transportation: Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at Silver Spring. At the Silver Spring Metro Station get on the F4, F6 or Ride-On Bus 17 towards New Carrollton or Langley Park. There is a bus stop directly in front of the theater at the corner of Philadelphia Ave and Chicago Ave. For exact timing, use the MWATA trip planner. For your destination, enter "Montgomery College (Takoma)" and plan to be there about 20-30 minutes before the start of the show. Driving from Downtown DC: Drive north on 16th street. Turn Right on Alaska Ave (just past Walter Reed). Turn left where Alaska dead-ends into Georgia Ave. Take the third Right onto Route 410 East. Take the next Right onto Fenton. The free Montgomery College parking garage is on the Right. From there, walk one block down Islington Street (diagonal to Fenton, just in front of the garage). The Black Box Theatre is in the modern building where Islington dead-ends into Chicago. Driving from the Inner Beltway: Exit the Beltway at exit 31B towards Silver Spring MD-97 S/Georgia Ave. Merge onto Georgia Ave. Stay on Georgia for about two miles. Turn Left at Sligo Ave. Take the next Right onto Fenton. The free Montgomery College parking garage is on the Right in four blocks. From there, walk one block down Islington Street (diagonal to Fenton, just in front of the garage). The Black Box Theatre is in the modern building where Islington dead-ends into Chicago. Driving from the Outer Beltway: Take exit 30A to merge onto Colesville Rd/US-29 N toward Silver Spring. In downtown Silver Spring, turn Left onto Fenton Ave. Stay on Fenton, in about a mile the free Montgomery College parking garage will be on the Right. From there, walk one block down Islington Street (diagonal to Fenton, just in front of the garage). The Black Box Theatre is in the modern building where Islington dead-ends into Chicago.
